Dr. GHADA AL DAHEEN, is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with more than 30 years of experience in women’s healthcare and over 20 years of consultant-level practice in Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology.
Since 2006, Dr. Ghada Al Daheen has served as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, Iraq, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, clinical training, and professional development.
Dr. Ghada is an Associate member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG-UK), a member of the General Medical Council (UK), the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (UK),the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology BSCCP (UK), the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM), and the Middle East Diabetes Association.
Her clinical expertise includes the management of routine and high-risk pregnancies, recurrent pregnancy loss, multiple pregnancies, Rh isoimmunisation, infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menstrual disorders, contraception and family planning, menopause care, cervical pathology, and women’s preventive health.
Dr. Ghada is highly experienced in diagnostic and operative gynecology, including abdominal, vaginal, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic procedures. Her surgical expertise includes hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cyst surgery, salpingectomy, conservative management of ectopic pregnancy, pelvic floor repair, vaginal hysterectomy, cervical cerclage, and the surgical management of miscarriage and gestational trophoblastic disease.
She has extensive experience in gynecological and obstetric ultrasound, including transvaginal, transabdominal pelvic, and obstetric imaging. Her special interests include colposcopy, management of abnormal cervical screening results, reproductive endocrinology, menopause management, and regenerative gynecology.
Fluent in both Arabic and English, Dr. Ghada provides culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population and is committed to supporting women’s health and wellbeing throughout every stage of life.
